Vermont's second-largest health system in Rutland is expanding its surgical subspecialty services and seeking a seasoned Urology Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) to manage an established, independent outpatient patient panel.

Clinical Scope: Lead autonomous outpatient care and clinical management for a diverse general urology caseload:
Manage an independent patient panel focused on adult general urology conditions, including voiding dysfunction, prostate health, urolithiasis, urinary tract infections, and oncologic follow-ups
Perform outpatient diagnostic evaluations, clinical procedures, physical examinations, and routine therapeutic management
Collaborate with hospital-employed attending urologists and supportive care teams ( Note: Position is dedicated to clinical care and does not require OR surgical assisting )

Candidate Profile & Qualifications We are seeking an autonomous, clinically accomplished Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant with verified hands-on experience in general urology.
Education & Credentials: Master s degree in Nursing (for NPs) or graduation from an AMA-approved Physician Assistant program (for PAs); active national certification (ANCC/AANP for NPs; NCCPA for PAs).
Licensure: Active, unencumbered Vermont State Advanced Practice NP or PA License (or eligible).
Specialty Experience: Minimum of two (2) years of dedicated advanced practice experience directly within General Urology.
Certifications: Endorsed patient/visitor de-escalation and restraint program certification (or completed during onboarding).
