The Practice Experience Join a dedicated, multidisciplinary oncology team delivering patient- and family-centered care across an integrated healthcare network.
Clinical Scope: Provide broad-spectrum hematologic and oncologic care across clinic, inpatient, emergency room, and telehealth settings:
Conduct thorough clinical evaluations, diagnostic workups, and disease management for solid tumors, hematologic malignancies, and benign blood disorders
Manage active treatment plans, supportive therapies, symptom control, and survivorship protocols
Collaborate seamlessly with attending medical oncologists, surgical specialists, infusion nurses, and care coordinators
Provide inpatient consultations, emergency room support, and virtual telehealth visits as clinically indicated
Schedule & Lifestyle Advantage: Standard Monday through Friday schedule (8:00 AM 4:30 PM) with no weeknight call.
Balanced Call Coverage: Minimal call obligations featuring only one weekend per month of call coverage.

Candidate Profile & Qualifications We are seeking a patient-focused, clinically accomplished Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant with verified experience in specialized oncology care.
Education & Credentials: Master s degree in Nursing (NP) or graduate of an AMA-approved PA program; active national certification (ANCC/AANP for NPs; NCCPA for PAs).
Licensure: Active, unencumbered Vermont State NP or PA License (or eligible).
Specialty Experience: Minimum of two (2) years of dedicated advanced practice experience in Hematology/Oncology.
Certifications: Department-required unit certifications and endorsed patient/visitor de-escalation/restraint program certification (or completed during onboarding).
