We have an exciting opportunity for a Neonatologist to join an established NICU team of 4 Neonatologists and 3 Neonatal Nurse Practitioners.
Position Highlights
- Level III, 30-bed NICU with an average daily census of approximately 24
- 24/7 in-house Neonatologist coverage with support from experienced NNPs
- Approximately 3,000 annual births
- Approximately 470 NICU admissions and 1,226 newborn nursery admissions annually
- Attendance at deliveries required
- Teaching opportunities with medical students and residents
- Access to pediatric subspecialists representing 30+ specialties , including Pulmonology, Surgery, Neurology, Nephrology, Infectious Disease, Hematology/Oncology, Gastroenterology, Endocrinology, and Cardiology
- Option to provide coverage at a nearby Level II NICU
- Opportunity for an academic faculty appointment
- J-1 visa sponsorship available
- Candidates with 3+ years of experience in a busy Level III/IV NICU are preferred; new graduates will also be considered
