PRIVILEGES & COMPLIANCE
  • Hospital Privileges Required: Yes
  • Temporary Privileges Available: Yes (IMLC/WV temp license)
  • Credentialing Timeline: 60+ days
REQUIRED PROCEDURES
  • General GI Hospitalist procedures (EGD, Colonoscopy, etc.)

JOB REQUIREMENTS
  • Licenses: Active WV license or Universal License (IMLC)
  • Board: BC/BE in Gastroenterology
  • DEA: Required
  • Certifications: BLS, ACLS
  • Experience: Open
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Provide general gastroenterology consultative services in a hospital setting.
  • Perform endoscopic procedures (EGD, Colonoscopy) as needed.
  • Manage inpatients with gastrointestinal conditions.
  • Participate in call coverage on a 7 on / 7 off schedule, including night call.
  • Collaborate with support staff (APPs, RNs, MAs) across multiple GI locations.
