Job Details:
Provide and supervise medical and physical care to inpatient psychiatric patientsUtilize appropriate psychotherapeutic methods, medication management, and treatment plan development in close collaboration with treatment team members, pharmacy, and other hospital staffNurse practitioner support providedWork hours are Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM with no call responsibilities14-16 patient encounters per shiftExperience and competence with management of wide age ranges from pre-adolescent to geriatric populations requiredExperience and competence with management of a wide variety of primary psychiatric diagnoses including mood disorders, psychotic disorders, and substance use disorders requiredPrevious experience working in an inpatient psychiatric setting requiredBoard certified or board eligible with board certification within 24 months of eligibility requiredChild/Adolescent psychiatry board certification preferred3+ years of experience working in an inpatient psychiatric setting preferredEPIC EMR experience preferredABLS, ACLS, and BLS certifications requiredClinical areas of focus include anxiety disorders, affective disorders, ADD/ADHD, personality disorders, eating disorders, developmental disorders, psychotic disorders, and organic disordersTreatment techniques include pharmacotherapy, group therapy, family therapy, and ECTFacility:
