- Da Vinci robotic surgery experience is highly preferred but not required.
Schedule & Coverage
- Clinic: Monday Friday, 8:00 AM 5:00 PM
- Shifts: 8-hour shifts, with operating room time and 24-hour call coverage
- Call Requirement: 7 days of 24-hour call per month
- Weekend Call: 1:2 rotation
- Call is restricted/beeper call, with a 10-minute response time and a required radius of approximately 30 minutes, potentially extending to 45 minutes.
- Average after-hours calls or texts: 0 4.
- Administrative time is paid at an hourly rate.
Typical schedule:
- During call weeks: Approximately 3 clinic days, 1 OR day, and 7 consecutive days of 24-hour call, with an administrative day off in between as needed for rest.
- During non-call weeks: Approximately 4 clinic days per week, 1 OR day, with shifts generally running 8:00 AM 5:00 PM.

Clinical Details
- Diagnose and treat erectile dysfunction, kidney stones, and male incontinence.
- Provide routine urology care, including yearly refills.
- Perform standard urology procedures in the clinic and operating room, including:
- Catheter placement
- Stent placement
- Cystoscopy
- Transurethral resection of the prostate (TURP)
- Ureteroscopy
- Prostate biopsy
- Circumcision
- Shock wave lithotripsy (ESWL)
- Orchiopexy
- Transurethral resection of bladder tumor (TURBT)
- Hydrocelectomy
- Spermatocelectomy
- Photoselective vaporization of the prostate (PVP)
- Litholapaxy
- Provide surgical assistance as needed.
Requirements
- Active Washington medical license required at submission.
- IMLC candidates may be considered if they have their Letter of Qualification (LOQ) in hand.
- With an LOQ, a Washington license may be issued in less than one week for MDs and approximately 3.5 weeks for DOs.
- BLS certification required.
- ACLS certification required.
- Epic experience preferred.
- Da Vinci robotic surgery experience is a strong plus.
- Case logs required documenting at least 100 surgical procedures within the past 24 months, representative of the requested privileges. Logs must include the diagnosis or procedure, date, and facility where performed.
- Fast-track or urgent credentialing will be pursued.
- Orientation: 8 hours are non-billable.
- Call: Include 4 hours of gratis for all call coverage.
- At the time of offer, the provider's date of birth and Social Security number must be available for submission to the client within 24 hours.
