What You ll Do
- Provide compassionate, prescribed hyperbaric oxygen therapy to patients with conditions such as diabetic surges, COVID, cancer radiation issues, and surgical wounds
- Operate and maintain hyperbaric chambers safely and effectively
- Perform blood pressure and glucose testing
- Accurately document patient care data using Intellicare and EPIC systems
- Communicate professionally with team members and patients
- Assist in ensuring safety and compliance in the hyperbaric environment
- Support administrative tasks, including insurance authorizations and safety procedures
What You Need
Required: - Current certification as a Certified Hyperbaric Technologist
- BLS certification via AHA
- 1-3 years of relevant experience
- Basic computer skills
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Approved hyperbaric medicine introductory course
- Strong concern for patient welfare
- Ability to communicate effectively; Spanish language skills are a plus
Preferred: - Experience with Intellicare and EPIC systems
- Safety training and insurance authorization experience
