Opportunity Overview
  • Consultation-Liaison Psychiatry coverage for supplemental support
  • ASAP start, based on standard credentialing
  • 1.0 FTE
  • Current approval through March 23, 2027
  • Inpatient hospital setting
  • 32-bed unit
  • Adult patients
  • Rounding and admissions required
  • Work as part of a multidisciplinary team
Schedule & Coverage
  • 2 weeks per month
  • Preferred schedule is a 7-day stretch every other week
  • 10-hour shifts
  • 7:00 AM-5:00 PM
  • No call requirement listed
  • Patient volume varies, with approximately 15-18 patients per day on busy days
Clinical Details
  • Inpatient Consultation-Liaison Psychiatry
  • Provide psychiatric consultations for hospitalized adult patients
  • Evaluate and manage patients with behavioral health needs
  • Perform inpatient assessments and follow-up
  • Participate in rounding and admissions
  • Collaborate with other healthcare providers
Requirements
  • MD/DO
  • Psychiatry experience with inpatient or consultative services
  • BLS certification
  • Demonstrate inpatient or consultative care for at least 30 patients within the past 24 months
  • Recent residency, fellowship, or research experience may satisfy the clinical activity requirement
  • License preferred but not required
  • Must meet hospital credentialing requirements
