Join our dynamic team at Quadrant Health Group, is looking for a compassionate and organized Family Coordinator.
The Family Coordinator is responsible for developing and maintaining meaningful relationships with families throughout the treatment process, providing education and support, and helping families remain connected to their loved one's recovery journey. This role is ideal for someone passionate about behavioral health, family support, and long-term client success.
What You'll Do:
Major Tasks, Duties and Responsibilities
- Build rapport with families and serve as a consistent point of contact during and after treatment.
- Introduce families to available family support services and resources.
- Facilitate or assist with family support groups and family programming.
- Provide families with education and resources related to addiction, recovery, communication, and healthy boundaries.
- Coordinate family involvement in treatment and recovery-related activities, as appropriate.
- Assist families in understanding the discharge and continuing-care process.
- Connect families with appropriate community resources and support services.
- Collaborate with clinical, admissions, discharge planning, and other departments to support family engagement.
- Maintain accurate documentation of family contacts, participation, and follow-up.
- Maintain confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA standards at all times.
What You'll Bring:
Skills, Knowledge and Competencies Required
- High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree preferred
- 1+ years of experience in behavioral health, recovery support, peer leadership, or related field is preferred
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to communicate effectively and compassionately with families experiencing challenging circumstances.
- Knowledge of addiction, recovery, family systems, and community resources is preferred.
- Comfortable with public speaking, group facilitation, and working with diverse populations.
- Successful completion of Pre-Employment Requirements including, a criminal background clearance and drug testing.
