Job Requirements
- 1+ year of experience in neonatology required
- Active Physician Assistant certification or eligibility for licensure
- Experience working in a NICU or neonatal intensive care setting
- Ability to perform key neonatal procedures in a high-acuity hospital environment
- Comfort working rotating day and night shifts
- DEA registration preferred/required as applicable
Responsibilities
- Provide clinical support for newborns in a Level III NICU
- Perform neonatal procedures including intubation, umbilical line placement, and thoracentesis
- Collaborate with attending physicians, residents, and the broader neonatal care team
- Evaluate and manage a daily patient load in a fast-paced hospital setting
- Deliver safe, high-quality care for newborns requiring specialized monitoring and treatment
- Support continuity of care across rotating shifts
