What You ll Do
- Provide inpatient medical care for hospital patients under the hospitalist service
- Collaborate with nursing staff and physicians to develop and implement patient care plans
- Conduct assessments, diagnose, and manage acute and chronic conditions
- Document patient care accurately in electronic health records
- Participate in multidisciplinary rounds and handoffs
- Respond to emergency situations as needed
- Support hospital initiatives to improve patient outcomes
What You Need
Required: - Valid Physician Assistant license in New York
- Experience in hospital or inpatient care
- Excellent communication and clinical skills
Preferred: - Prior experience working night shifts
- Knowledge of internal medicine or acute care protocols
