Overview As Internal Medicine Residency Program Director for the FSU College of Medicine at Ascension Sacred Heart Bay, you lead a new IM residency program. Responsibilities- Oversee internal medicine residency program under DIO guidance
- Lead curriculum development, teaching, and resident mentoring
- Manage program operations including recruitment and evaluation
- Coordinate with physician practices and hospital services to improve value and quality
- Participate in GME committees and scholarly activity
- Conduct resident evaluation and program evaluation
- Lead recruitment, interviewing, and research initiatives
- Contribute to program administration and strategic vision with leadership
Key requirements- Board certified in Internal Medicine by ABIM
- FL medical license or eligible to obtain FL licensure
- Minimum three years of faculty and administrative experience in an ACGME IM residency program
- Doctoral degree from an accredited institution with demonstrated teaching/research/service record
