Overview As a Medical Coding Auditor at ModMed BOOST, you ensure coding compliance across ICD-10-CM, HCPCS, CPT and modifiers while advancing denial management and QA initiatives. You collaborate with internal and global coding teams to provide actionable feedback, drive training, and uphold coding standards. You'll conduct QA audits, track coding trends, and support continuous quality improvement under the Coding and Auditing Manager. This role blends audit rigor with education to elevate client coding accuracy and compliance.

Responsibilities- Perform QA audits and trend analysis on federal, state, and payer guidelines
- Provide actionable feedback to global coding teams to improve accuracy
- Document audit results in logs and summarize QA performance
- Collaborate with BOOST and global teams on inquiries, clarifications, and training requests
- Lead or participate in BOOST Quality Assurance audits (assignment accuracy, appeals)
- Support review, appeal, and follow-up of third-party audits (RAC, CERT)
- Assist in updating coding guidelines, scrub edits, and implementation of coding procedures
- Ensure continuing education units (CEUs) for maintaining coding certifications
