POSITION SUMMARY
The Department seeks a plastic surgeon to join a hospital based practice providing reconstructive and cosmetic surgical services. The role includes a balanced mix of operative and outpatient responsibilities, collaboration with an established plastic surgeon, and participation in a broad regional referral network. The position supports a full scope practice with access to dedicated operating room time and modern surgical resources.
QUALIFICATIONS
• Board eligible or board certified in Plastic Surgery.
• Residency training in plastic surgery.
• Eligibility for medical licensure in South Carolina.
• Interest in reconstructive and cosmetic plastic surgery.
• Ability to collaborate within a multidisciplinary surgical environment.
COMPETENCIES
• Ability to manage a broad range of reconstructive and cosmetic surgical conditions.
• Skill in performing operative and non operative plastic surgery procedures.
• Capacity to collaborate with surgeons, advanced practice clinicians, and clinical support staff.
• Commitment to patient centered surgical care.
• Ability to support clinical operations within a high volume surgical practice.
WORK SETTING & ENVIRONMENT
Work Environment: Hospital; Inpatient; Outpatient; Clinic/Private Practice; Ambulatory Surgery Center (ASC)
• Plastic and reconstructive surgery delivered across inpatient, outpatient, and operative settings.
• Collaboration with a growing plastic surgery team and multidisciplinary surgical colleagues.
• Two dedicated operating room days and two clinic days weekly.
• Participation in facial trauma call within a trauma designated facility.
• Access to modern surgical facilities and diagnostic tools.
