POSITION SUMMARY
The Department seeks a urology specialist to join a hospital employed practice providing comprehensive urologic care within a large regional health system. The role includes outpatient clinical services, access to advanced surgical technology, and participation in a weekday schedule with backup call only. The position supports a high volume practice environment with strong systemwide resources and a broad referral base.
QUALIFICATIONS
• Board eligible or board certified in Urology.
• Residency training in urology.
• Eligibility for medical licensure in South Carolina.
• Ability to provide outpatient and operative urologic care.
• Capacity to work within a team oriented clinical environment.
COMPETENCIES
• Ability to evaluate and manage a broad range of urologic conditions.
• Skill in performing operative and non operative urologic procedures.
• Capacity to collaborate with physicians, advanced practice clinicians, and surgical support teams.
• Commitment to patient centered specialty care.
• Ability to support clinical operations within a multispecialty health system.
WORK SETTING & ENVIRONMENT
Work Environment: Hospital; Inpatient; Outpatient; Clinic/Private Practice; Ambulatory Surgery Center (ASC)
• Urologic care delivered across outpatient clinics and operative settings.
• Weekday schedule with backup call only; primary call covered by uro hospitalists.
• Access to advanced surgical technology including multiple da Vinci XI systems, da Vinci 5, and Aquablation.
• Collaboration with a multidisciplinary team and dedicated OR first assist support.
• Integration within a large tertiary care health system with extensive specialty resources.
