Appointment at the full Professor level generally requires a minimum of 10 years of experience and ability to demonstrate the attainment of superior stature and national/international reputation in their field of knowledge. Evidence of scholarly productivity is required for appointment in the tenure stream, including teaching and academic service, publications in relevant peer-reviewed journals, and a history of successful funding acquisition. The primary requirement for conferral of tenure is an outstanding record of sustained independent scholarship across the various activities listed above.
