Physician - Neurology

Job Details:

• Serve as Medical Director of a comprehensive Memory Care Program, providing visionary leadership and oversight in collaboration with clinical and administrative leadership
• Provide personalized, coordinated outpatient evaluation and care for memory patients - no inpatient call or hospital-based care required
• Champion the development and implementation of standardized practices and clinical pathways to ensure seamless patient access and efficient throughput
• Lead a multidisciplinary team including specialists in Neurology, Neuropsychiatry, Neuropsychology, Clinical Social Work, and Advanced Practice Nursing
• Utilize advanced diagnostics including dementia biomarkers, neurocognitive testing, and amyloid PET imaging
• Oversee innovative therapies including anti-amyloid monoclonal antibody treatments
• Recruit and supervise faculty and practice personnel while fostering a positive, patient-centric care environment
• Lead Memory Care Clinical Council meetings with representation from multiple disciplines, regions, and care venues
• Collaborate with providers across multiple disciplines, councils, regions, and institutes to form a seamless care continuum
• Develop care protocols incorporating the latest brain imaging techniques, dementia biomarker testing, genetic risk factor assessment, and disease-modifying therapies
• Educate residents on the diagnosis and treatment of cognitive disorders and initiate clinical research programs related to cognitive disorders
• Participate in departmental activities related to patient care, teaching, research, and related matters
• Ideal candidate is a BE/BC Cognitive Neurologist, Memory Care Specialist, or General Neurologist with fellowship training and expertise in dementia-related cognitive disorders
