Opportunity:Physician - Internal Medicine - Gastroenterology
Job Details:- Provide comprehensive gastroenterology services with 12 patient encounters per shift
- Must hold an active Kentucky medical license
- Board certification required; minimum board certification eligible
- BLS certification required
- Credentialing timeframe approximately 45 days
- Perform upper GI endoscopy including with biopsy, foreign body removal, fulguration of bleeder (cautery vs. laser), and injection of varices
- Perform ERCP (endoscopic retrograde cholangiopancreatography) - both diagnostic and therapeutic
- Perform PEG (percutaneous endoscopic gastrostomy) procedures
- Perform small bowel biopsy
- Perform lower GI endoscopy and sigmoidoscopy - both flexible and rigid
- Perform colonoscopy including with biopsy and excision of polyp
- Insertion and management of Sengstaken/Blakemore tube
- Locum tenens engagement with ASAP start date on an ongoing basis
Compensation:Competitive hourly rates with weekly pay and malpractice included.
