Forward Deployed Engineer

Base Salary: $180,000 + quarterly variable compensation
About the Role
We are looking for a Forward Deployed Engineer to work directly with Fortune 500 clients in small, highly autonomous engineering pods.
You will understand complex business problems, design technical solutions, build and deploy production software, and work directly with clients to deliver measurable outcomes. interaction.
What You'll Do
Design, build, deploy, and maintain modern web and agentic applications
Own technical initiatives end-to-end from architecture to production
Work directly with Fortune 500 clients to understand their technical and business challenges
Present technical solutions, architecture, and progress to non-technical stakeholders
Operate independently in ambiguous and fast-changing environments
Collaborate with engineers and client teams to deliver production-ready solutions
Troubleshoot, iterate, and continuously improve deployed systems
Travel approximately once per month for client engagements
Requirements
Must Have:
3+ years of professional software engineering experience.
Experience building modern web and/or AI/agentic applications.
Technical leadership or high-ownership experience.
Ability to operate independently in ambiguous environments.
Genuine client/customer-facing engineering experience.
Strong technical communication skills.
Nice to Have:
Founder, co-founder, CTO, or founding engineer experience.
Computer Science or Engineering degree.
Early-stage startup experience.
Experience with AI/agentic coding tools such as Claude Code, Cursor, GitHub Copilot, Codex, or MCP.
Full-stack engineering experience.
Compensation
$180,000 base salary
Quarterly variable compensation
Typical additional earnings: $10,000 $15,000 per quarter for engineers in good standing
