Highlights
- Broad high-risk maternal fetal medicine scope
- Supervision of fellows, residents, and an APP
- 8-15 patients per shift
- Inpatient, outpatient, and telehealth care
Practice & Cases
- High-risk pregnancies including diabetes, hypertension, HELLP syndrome, and complex maternal disorders
- Ultrasound performance and interpretation, including targeted studies
- Cerclage, amniocentesis, C-sections, and instrument-assisted deliveries
- Antepartum and postpartum rounding with assigned patient care
Schedule
- Weekday outpatient and inpatient clinical coverage
- Home night call and Labor and Delivery backup call
- 1:6 beeper call rotation
- Weekend inpatient rounds included
Requirements
- Must be an MD or DO
- Board-certified in Maternal-Fetal Medicine
- Active Pennsylvania medical license required
- BLS and DEA required
