Services may include: Transporting building and home improvement materials using flatbed equipment Completing scheduled deliveries to customer locations and job sites Properly securing freight in accordance with applicable DOT requirements Conducting required pre-trip and post-trip inspections Maintaining required transportation and delivery documentation Communicating professionally with dispatch, warehouse teams, and customers Providing safe, dependable, and customer-focused delivery service Operating a trailer-mounted forklift/Moffett when applicable Carrier Requirements Independent Contract Carriers must: Operate as a legal business entity Have or be able to obtain their own Interstate Motor Carrier Authority Maintain required USDOT and MC authority Provide required Certificates of Insurance, including applicable: - Auto Liability
- General Liability
- Umbrella/Excess Liability
- Cargo
- Workers' Compensation or Occupational Accident/Workers Injury coverage, as applicable
- Provide their own tractor/power unit
- Tandem-axle day cab preferred
- Have a qualified CDL Class A driver
- Meet applicable DOT and safety requirements
- Successfully complete required background and qualification processes
- Maintain strong customer service and communication standards Preferred Experience

- Building materials or home improvement delivery experience
- Moffett / truck-mounted forklift experience
- Experience securing oversized, building-material, or construction-related freight
