- Thursday-Friday: Pain cases
Clinical details
- Patient population: Adult and surgical patients; no pediatric cases (surgical age cutoff: 12 years)
- Case types: Pain, general, orthopedic, and some podiatry
- Volume: Slow, very little volume
CRNA responsibilities
- Provide surgical anesthesia for low-acuity general and orthopedic cases
- Provide light sedation for EGD/colonoscopy
- Perform epidurals and regional blocks
Required procedural skills:
- Conscious sedation
- Spinals
- Regional blocks
- Epidurals
- EGD/colonoscopy light sedation
Preferred, but not required: Interventional pain management experience
