Opportunity Overview
  • Full-time CRNA coverage at a tertiary, Level III hospital
  • Ongoing assignment with an initial 4-month contract
  • Patient population: age 12+
  • Supervised anesthesia care model
  • Care team model with approximately 4:1 staffing
  • 24-hour anesthesia aid support
  • Specialized anesthesia care
Schedule & Coverage
  • Minimum 36 hours per week may apply
  • Minimum 2 weeks per month may apply
  • Two consecutive weeks per month required during the first 3 months
  • After 3 months, an every-other-week schedule may be considered
  • 8, 10, and 12-hour shifts available:
    • 6:30 AM-3:00 PM
    • 6:30 AM-5:00 PM
    • 6:30 AM-7:00 PM
  • 8-hour weeknight call may be available
  • Occasional overnight shifts may be available but are not required
  • 12-hour Saturday beeper call may be available but is not required
  • Paid orientation: 3 days
  • Orientation begins on the second Monday of each month
  • Skills checklist required at submission
Clinical Details
  • Hospital-based anesthesia practice
  • Tertiary Level III facility
  • EPIC EMR
  • CRNAs work under a supervised model
  • CRNAs do not perform:
    • Nerve blocks
    • Arterial lines
    • Epidurals
    • Spinals
  • Anesthesia aid department available to assist with room turnover and supplies
Requirements
  • CRNA
  • Active Minnesota Registered Nurse license required
  • Active Minnesota Registered Nurse Anesthetist license/authorization required
  • BLS and ACLS required
  • Minimum 1 year of experience
  • Must live at least 50 miles from the facility to be considered
  • Minnesota is not a compact state
  • Skills checklist required at time of submission
  • Credentialing timeframe: approximately 90-120 days
  • Clean credentialing history preferred for timely processing
