The Department of Emergency Medicine at Ochsner Medical Center in New Orleans, Louisiana is a well-established department that sees 75,000+ visits/year as a tertiary referral center for the larger Ochsner Health System. The department welcomed its first class of Emergency Medicine Residents in 2020 and also has seen continued rapid growth in the clinical enterprise. The Emergency Medicine Service Line is the Outstanding Clinical Service Line for the Ochsner Health System. The department is currently recruiting for more Academic Faculty positions at Ochsner Medical Center Main Campus as we continue to expand. We are searching for American Board of Emergency Medicine or American Osteopathic Board of Emergency Medicine certified/eligible physicians, preferably with fellowship/additional niche training and a passion for residency education, who can further grow the diversity of excellence within the academic department.
