The Quality Coordinator of Inpatient Care (QCIC) works in collaboration with physicians and ED Advanced Practice Provider (APRN/PA) to manage care for hospital inpatients (IP). The APP reports directly to the Vice President of Quality and works closely with the Director of Quality & Utilization Review.Requirements-Graduate of an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse or Physician Assistant Family Physician accredited program. -Minimum of 1-year hospital or critical care clinical experience as an IP APP provider preferred. -Licensed as an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse or Physician Assistant in the State of Illinois.-BLS certification through AHA required.-ACLS or willingness to obtain within 3 months.-PALS or willingness to obtain within 3 months. -ATLS or willingness to obtain within 3 months. Community-Canton population is 15,000. Location provides choice of city, small town, or rural setting.-Close proximity to Chicago, St. Louis, and Indianapolis. Peoria Regional airport with daily flights to most major cities.-Community is stable, with recently renovated downtown and new medical device manufacturing facility (one of the largest developments in central Illinois).
