Locums Cardiothoracic/Vascular Surgery APP Clinic + Call MT/IMLC Billings, MTWhy This Role
- Long-term 3-6 month assignment
- Mix of OR, rounding + clinic
- Cardiothoracic + vascular surgery coverage
- Strong RN + APP support
- One weekend of call/month
Assignment Details- Start: ASAP
- End: Ongoing
- Commitment: 3-6 months
- Coverage: Scheduled clinical hours + call
- Call: Beeper
- Weekend call: At least 1 weekend/month
- Call ratio: 1:5
- Call response: 20 minutes
- Setting: Inpatient + outpatient
- Volume: 10 patients/shift
- Support: 5 RNs, 5 APPs + office staff
- EMR: Cerner
- Credentialing: 90 days; no temporary privileges
Clinical Details- Cardiothoracic + vascular surgery
- OR first assist
- Hospital rounding
- Outpatient clinic coverage as needed
- Clinic is predominantly vascular
- Cardiothoracic postoperative follow-ups
- Call includes inpatient + outpatient coverage
Requirements- Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant
- Board Certified or Eligible
- Active MT license or IMLC
- BLS
- Cardiothoracic + vascular surgery experience
- OR first assist experience
- Availability for at least 1 weekend of call/month
- Ability to commit 3-6 months
Compensation- Rates: Facility is accepting bids
- Malpractice provided
- Travel reimbursed
