Women's Health Nurse PractitionerLocation: Lafayette, Louisiana•Seeking an experienced Women's Health Nurse Practitioner (WHNP) to provide comprehensive primary and specialty care to women across the lifespan. •Provide preventive, gynecologic, reproductive, prenatal, postpartum, and women's wellness care. •Perform well-woman exams, gynecologic evaluations, family planning, menopause management, and routine screenings. •Diagnose, treat, and manage acute and chronic women's health conditions, including diabetes and hypertension. •Perform and interpret diagnostic testing, including Pap smears, STI testing, and pregnancy testing. •Prescribe medications and treatments in accordance with applicable regulations. •Provide patient education focused on reproductive health, disease prevention, and overall wellness. •Collaborate with physicians, behavioral health providers, nurses, and other members of the multidisciplinary care team. •Maintain accurate and timely documentation within the EHR. •Participate in quality improvement, compliance, and organizational initiatives. •Provide patient-centered, trauma-informed care to a diverse and underserved patient population. Qualifications•Master's degree or higher from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program with a Women's Health focus. •Current WHNP certification (NCC). •Active, unrestricted Louisiana Nurse Practitioner license. •Current DEA registration and prescriptive authority or ability to obtain. •Current CPR/BLS certification. •FQHC or community health experience preferred. •Experience working with diverse and underserved populations preferred. •Bilingual skills preferred but not required. •Strong clinical assessment, diagnostic, communication, and interpersonal skills. •Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team. •Familiarity with EHR systems and clinical documentation standards. Work Environment•Outpatient clinical setting with direct patient care. •Requires the ability to sit, stand, and move throughout the clinic day. •Occasional lifting of supplies or equipment.
