Practice Setting
- Outpatient based MFM role with inpatient rounding and consult responsibilities
- Review and round on inpatient MFM patients with residents
- Provide inpatient consults and phone consultations, in person evaluation available when needed
- Supervise residents in high risk OB clinic in Warren as needed
Schedule
- Day coverage scheduled
- Nightly call coverage on weekdays
- 24 hour call coverage on weekends
- Call is primarily phone based, iCall back is minimal
Cases and Procedures
- Required, amniocentesis
- Required, cerclage including rescue cerclage
- Required, external cephalic version
- Preferred, chorionic villus sampling
Requirements
- Must be an MD or DO
- Board certified in Maternal-Fetal Medicine
- Michigan license required, will wait for license with active IMLC LOQ only, open to IMLC Physicians
- BLS and ACLS
