Opportunity:
Physician - Anesthesiology
Job Details:
- Board Eligibility required
- Daily patient volume of 40 or more patients
- Coverage provided on an as-needed basis
- Monday through Friday shifts from 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM
- Saturday and Sunday shifts are 24-hour call shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:00 AM
- Weekday call is in-house, starting at 3:00 PM and ending at 7:00 AM, with a post-call day off
- Average call schedule includes one weekday night per week and two weekend nights per month (one Saturday and one Sunday)
- Weekend call is in-house, either Saturday or Sunday, 7:00 AM to 7:00 AM (24 hours); weekend calls can be taken consecutively if desired
- No beeper call required
- Physician-run OB labor epidural service; physicians perform labor epidurals
- Supervisory capacity in main OR with own cases performed in OB
- Supervision ratio is typically 1:4, sometimes 1:3
- Expert-level proficiency in ultrasound-guided regional anesthesia required
- Expert-level proficiency in ultrasound vascular access required
- Expert-level proficiency in OB anesthesia required
- Expert-level proficiency in thoracic anesthesia required
- EMR system used: MEDAXION and Meditech
