Job description

Opportunity:

DO;MD - Anesthesiology

Job Details:

Anesthesiologist needed to cover hourly, weeknight call, and 24-hour weekend call

Schedule includes 8-hour shifts Monday through Friday from 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM

Schedule also includes 10-hour shifts Monday through Friday from 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM

Weekday call hours run from 5:00 PM to 7:00 AM

Weekend call is 24 hours running from 7:00 AM to 7:00 AM

Estimated 20 shifts per month

Providers will work in a care team model: 50% solo and 50% supervision

Solo cases involve seeing patients starting at pre-op and managing/working cases through to finish

Supervision involves overseeing CRNAs starting at pre-op at a ratio of 1:3 to 1:4 nurse anesthetists throughout the day

No pediatric cases for patients under 13 years old for OR, no open heart, and no neuro cases

Must be willing to handle solo cases as well as supervise

Must be familiar with Epic

DEA will be required

Must be located outside of a 40-mile radius from the facility
