Job description

Opportunity:

Physician - Internal Medicine - Cardiology

Job Details:

Provide inpatient and outpatient cardiology coverage with hospital onsite, clinic, and call responsibilities

Coverage needed for 1-2 weeks including 1-2 weekends, with flexible scheduling coordinated with the clinic team

Shift hours are 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM onsite, with weeknight beeper call from 5:00 PM to 8:00 AM and 24-hour weekend beeper call

7 to 14 shifts per month with 8 guaranteed hours per day

7 to 9 patient encounters per shift

Board certification required; BLS and ACLS certifications required

Active DEA required

Experience required with cardioversion, transesophageal echocardiography (TEE), and stress echocardiography

Must be proficient in reading echocardiograms, EKGs, and stress echos

Nuclear reads preferred but not required

Required skills include outpatient and inpatient cardiology, ICU, non-invasive cardiology, echocardiography, TEE, and cardiac catheterization

Candidates willing to obtain an Oregon license will be considered

Facility:

This is a Level 3 trauma center providing a comprehensive range of inpatient and outpatient medical services, including specialized cardiology care. The facility supports a multidisciplinary team environment and offers both clinic-based and hospital-based care, with onsite resources including nuclear cardiology support. Providers can expect a collaborative setting with a structured interview and screening process led by the physician team.
