Practice Setting
- Outpatient clinic setting
- Patient population is ages 16 and older, pediatric patients are routed to pediatrics and NPs as appropriate
- Primarily adult patients with chronic medical conditions
- Dedicated support includes 1 MA assigned to the locum, 2 exam rooms, shared office space, plus on-site Behavioral Health and Specialty Support including Women's Health, Hepatology, and OBGYN
Schedule
- Monday through Friday coverage, ideally 4 to 5 days per week
- Clinic hours are 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM with a 30-minute lunch
- No weekends or holidays
- No call
Cases and Procedures
- Standard primary care visits, with a chronic disease heavy mix
- May include cultures and basic labs
- X-ray available on site
- Expected volume is 12 patients per day, with option to ramp up to 15 to 20 if you are comfortable
Requirements
- Must be an MD or DO
- California medical license required, will not wait for license
- Board Certified or Board Eligible within 5 years in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine
- BLS and DEA required
