Opportunity:

Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist - Anesthesia


Job Details:

  • No call, holidays, or weekends required

  • 8 or 10 hour shifts available (7:00 AM - 3:30 PM or 7:00 AM - 5:30 PM)

  • Provider must be able to commit to 6 months of consistent coverage

  • Supervised by a Pediatric Anesthesiologist

  • Average number of surgical cases per day: 1-15

  • Level 1 Trauma Center designation with typical trauma cases including MVA, extreme falls, serious dog bites, gunshot wounds, and other emergency surgical cases

  • OR volume of approximately 13,000 cases per year

  • 11 operating rooms at main campus, 4 at south campus, plus medical imaging/IR coverage

  • OR staff includes physicians, anesthesiologists, CRNAs, and nursing staff

  • Develop and implement anesthesia care plans including induction, maintenance, and emergence based on pre-operative assessments

  • Care for neonatal and pediatric patients ages 0-18 years, occasionally up to 23 depending on case circumstances

  • Sick pediatric and neonatal cases included

  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required

  • Graduation from an accredited AANA-approved nurse anesthesia program required

  • Current CRNA certification and Ohio state licensure required

  • PALS certification required

  • Strong communication, customer service, and basic computer skills required

  • 1-3 years of neonatal and/or pediatric experience preferred
