PRIVILEGES & COMPLIANCE
  • Hospital Privileges Required: Yes
REQUIRED PROCEDURES
  • Low risk pregnancy management
  • Vaginal deliveries
  • C-sections
  • Repair of 3rd and 4th degree lacerations
  • VBAC
  • OB Ultrasound
  • Amniocentesis

JOB REQUIREMENTS
  • Board: BC/BE in Obstetrics & Gynecology
  • Licenses: Active MI License
  • Experience: Minimum 2 years in OB/GYN
  • Other Qualifications: Local candidate preferred
Duties & Responsibilities
  • Provide 24/7 hospital coverage for Labor & Delivery, Emergency Department, and Surgical services during call weeks.
  • Perform surgical procedures including C-sections, VBACs, and repair of complex lacerations.
  • Manage acute/urgent surgical needs and provide OB ultrasound and amniocentesis.
  • Conduct emergent clinic consults to determine the necessity of hospital admission.
  • Collaborate with a team of NPs to ensure comprehensive patient care.
