Urgent Care LVN
Location: Houston, TX
Pay:$37.17/hour (W2)
Type: Contract (temporary)
Schedule: Full-time - 75 hours every 2 weeks, including every other weekend (some major holidays may be required). Shifts are typically 7-10 hours during clinic operating hours.
Position Overview
We're hiring an Urgent Care LVN to support a fast-paced, patient-facing clinical setting. You'll provide high-quality, evidence-based care, work closely with the clinical team, and ensure accurate documentation in the EMR.
Responsibilities
- Assess patients and support evidence-based clinical care
- Administer medications (oral, injectable, IV, topical as applicable)
- Monitor vital signs and document changes/abnormalities
- Perform routine patient assessments and support overall wellness
- Document medical history, medications, allergies, and treatment notes in the EMR
- Support vaccinations, point-of-care testing, and phlebotomy as needed
- Maintain a clean, organized, well-stocked clinic environment
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and clinical staff
Requirements
- Active, unrestricted LVN/LPN license (must be in good standing)
- BLS certification (expiration must extend beyond the start of assignment)
- 1+ year related clinical experience
- Experience in Primary Care, Urgent Care, or Emergency Room
- Experience with phlebotomy, vaccine administration, and point-of-care testing
- Comfortable using EMR systems (Epic preferred)
- High School Diploma or GED

- Brief responses about your experience (Primary/Urgent/ER, EMR/Epic, schedule availability, and any planned time off during initial training/orientation)
