We are seeking a Pharmacy Technician to support medication fulfillment and pharmacy operations under the direct supervision of a pharmacist. The Pharmacy Technician will select, pick, and package medications and supplies in preparation for shipment to patients. This role will also perform record-keeping duties and assist with inventory control processes as needed.


Pay: $20.00/hour
Schedule: Monday-Thursday, 12:00 PM-9:00 PM; Friday, 10:30 AM-7:30 PM


Key Responsibilities

  • Select, pick, and package medications and supplies for shipment to patients.
  • Perform required record-keeping and documentation.
  • Assist with inventory control and related processes.
  • Work under the direct supervision of a pharmacist.
  • Operate departmental equipment and machinery as required.
  • Assist with additional operational duties as needed.
  • Cross-train on the Operations Assistant/Materials Coordinator position while on assignment and provide support in those functions as needed.


Required Qualifications

  • Active California Pharmacy Technician License - REQUIRED.
  • National pharmacy technician certification does not replace the required California license.
  • Ability to work in a safety-sensitive environment.
  • Ability to stand for the duration of an 8-10 hour shift.
  • Ability to repeatedly lift 5-10 lbs. throughout the shift.
  • Ability to occasionally lift up to 30-50 lbs. unassisted - REQUIRED.
  • Ability to reach and grasp objects at various levels.
  • Ability to use a keyboard and operate departmental machinery.
  • Ability to follow safety procedures and work effectively around moving equipment.


Physical Demands

This position requires the ability to:

  • Stand for extended periods, including the full duration of an 8-10 hour shift.
  • Repeatedly lift 5-10 lbs.
  • Occasionally lift up to 30-50 lbs. unassisted during a shift.
  • Reach and grasp objects at various levels.
  • Utilize a keyboard and operate departmental machinery.


Work Environment

  • Regularly works near and around moving machinery, including conveyor belts.
  • Noise levels are generally moderate.
  • Protective clothing or equipment may be required.
  • This is a safety-sensitive position, and employees are expected to follow all applicable safety procedures and requirements.
