CORRECTIONAL FACILITY NURSE PRACTITIONER
Location: Columbus, OH
Pay: $100.00 per hour
Schedule: 12:00 AM - 5:00 PM, Monday-Friday
Schedule Details: No weekends or holidays
Position Details
- Create and implement individualized patient care plans and perform advanced nursing duties within the scope of licensure.
- Monitor patient progress and provide ongoing management of chronic medical conditions.
- Perform physical examinations, diagnose medical conditions, prescribe medications, and administer treatments in accordance with licensure and facility requirements.
- Complete discharge planning and coordinate follow-up care for patients with ongoing medical needs.
- Perform minor surgical procedures as permitted by training, competency, and applicable requirements.
- Evaluate the need for specialist referrals and review and interpret diagnostic test results.
- Administer vaccines and inoculations as indicated.
- Maintain accurate and complete medical documentation in accordance with facility, regulatory, and clinical requirements.
Critical Requirements
- On-site position in Columbus, OH.
- Facility-based clinical environment.
- Standard weekday schedule with no weekends or holidays.
- Must be licensed to practice as a Nurse Practitioner in the State of Ohio.
- Must have current CPR certification.
- Candidates must provide all required compliance documentation prior to start.
- Required screenings must be initiated within 48 hours of offer acceptance.
