PHARMACY TECHNICIAN
LOCATION
Memphis, TN Onsite
COMPENSATION & SCHEDULE
• $20.50/hr
• Monday, Thursday & Friday: 11:00 AM-9:30 PM; Saturday: 8:00 AM-6:30 PM
• 4-day/10-hour shift with possible overtime
• Temporary-to-permanent opportunity with a 90-day probation period
ROLE IMPACT
The Pharmacy Technician supports pharmacists in a fast-paced Central Fill pharmacy by helping prepare, fill, package, and process prescription medications accurately and efficiently. This role is essential to maintaining medication accuracy, inventory levels, and smooth pharmacy operations.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Assist pharmacists with preparing and dispensing medications, including manual entry, picking, filling, packing, and applying prescription labels.
• Operate automated sorting and counting equipment and replenish products used in prescription filling.
• Fill bottles and cells with prescribed tablets and capsules while following pharmacy procedures and accuracy standards.
• Receive and store incoming supplies, stock shelves, count inventory, and enter inventory data into computer systems.
• Clean equipment, complete required forms, and support daily Central Fill pharmacy operations.
LICENSES & CERTIFICATIONS
• Current Tennessee State Pharmacy Technician License required.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
