Work Environment

Our Jacksonville facility is a vibrant rehabilitation center that encourages teamwork and collaboration among healthcare professionals. This onsite role entails a Monday to Friday schedule with 40 hours per week, offering a welcoming and resource-rich environment where therapists can access the latest tools and techniques in orthopedic rehabilitation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough evaluations of patients referred by physicians to devise tailored treatment plans that address individual needs and goals.
  • Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions, utilizing manual therapy techniques, modalities, and exercise protocols to achieve optimal patient outcomes.
  • Regularly assess patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed, demonstrating flexibility and responsiveness to patients' evolving conditions.
  • Educate patients and caregivers about rehabilitation processes, incorporating training that empowers them in their recovery journey.
  • Actively participate in team meetings and case discussions to enhance collective knowledge and integrate best practices across specialties.
  • Maintain detailed documentation of patient interactions and progress, ensuring compliance with regulatory and organizational standards.
  • Uphold the highest standard of customer service and contribute to an environment where patient satisfaction is paramount.
Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will work with a diverse patient population, including individuals seeking rehabilitation for orthopedic injuries, sports-related conditions, neurological issues, and pediatric care. Your ability to develop strong therapeutic relationships will substantially contribute to helping patients achieve their functional goals and improve their quality of life.

Qualifications
  • A Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program, with a preference for candidates holding a Doctorate in Physical Therapy.
  • A valid state license in Physical Therapy for Florida.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, ensuring effective interaction with patients and colleagues.
  • Proficiency in using technology for patient management and documentation, including EMR systems.
  • A proven ability to build rapport and motivate patients successfully throughout the rehabilitation process.
Preferred Experience
  • Previous experience in outpatient orthopedic settings, with a strong emphasis on manual therapy techniques.
  • Demonstrated success in managing diverse patient caseloads and collaborating within multidisciplinary teams.
  • Evidence of involvement in professional development activities such as workshops, conferences, or continuing education.
