Position Overview

Build Up Physical Therapy Services is actively seeking a qualified and dedicated Orthopedic Rehabilitation Specialist to join our team on a full-time basis. Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough assessments of patients' physical conditions to develop tailored rehabilitation plans addressing orthopedic needs.
  • Implement and guide patients through various therapeutic interventions, including active and passive exercises, gait training, and muscle re-education.
  • Educate patients and their families on rehabilitation processes, self-care strategies, and maintaining optimal health post-treatment.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary team members, including physicians, occupational therapists, and support staff, to ensure comprehensive patient care.
  • Utilize various treatment techniques such as manual therapy, ultrasound, and modalities to enhance recovery processes.
  • Regularly document patient progress and adjust treatment plans in accordance with their evolving needs and feedback.
Patient Population / Client Focus

The primary focus of this role is on outpatient orthopedic patients, including those recovering from surgeries, injuries, and chronic pain conditions. Our diverse clientele ranges from young athletes to older adults, each with unique rehabilitation needs. Your expertise will significantly impact their recovery journey, fostering improved function and enhanced quality of life.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
  • Active State Physical Therapy license to practice in Florida.
  • Minimum of one year of clinical experience in orthopedic physical therapy.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills necessary for effective patient interactions.
  • Strong clinical assessment, diagnostic skills, and a passion for patient care.
Preferred Experience
  • Board certification in Orthopedic Physical Therapy is highly preferred.
  • Demonstrated experience using modalities and advanced therapeutic techniques within the orthopedic setting.
Compensation and Benefits
