Pediatric Hospitalist in Nursery - Salisbury, Maryland
TidalHealth is seeking a Physician with newborn care experience to join our inpatient newborn care team at TidalHealth Peninsula Regional in Salisbury, Maryland. This is a part-time opportunity focused on morning coverage and is ideal for a physician looking for a consistent, flexible schedule with excellent work-life balance.

- Salary Range from $98,000- $112,000 for .45 FTE
Position Responsibilities
The physician will provide inpatient care for newborn patients while working collaboratively with nursing, neonatology, and other members of the clinical team. Responsibilities may include:
- Evaluation and management of newborn patients
- Performing newborn examinations and routine newborn care
- Identifying and managing common newborn conditions
- Supporting newborn stabilization and escalation of care when appropriate
- Developing and implementing individualized plans of care
- Coordinating care and discharge planning
- Communicating with and educating parents and families
- Collaborating with neonatology, nursing, and other clinical team members
- Participating in quality improvement and departmental initiatives
Qualifications
- MD or DO from an accredited medical school
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Pediatrics or other appropriate specialty
- Current or eligible for Maryland medical licensure
- Newborn care experience required
- Strong clinical judgment, communication, and collaboration skills
