We are seeking a Respite Provider to provide respite to a Elementary age female with disabilities by providing safe, engaging, and person-centered care. This rewarding role gives Parents a much-needed break while helping this elementary-age female child enjoy community activities, build relationships, and participate in meaningful experiences. This child has hearing impairment, development disabilities, and strict diet This child loves music, dancing, math, read- chapter books, playing Skip-Bo card game, camping and being outside. Wages $14.13 per hour Schedule 6 hours a week Afternoon, Evening, and Weekend hours Primarily Every Other Weekend (Saturday and Sunday) Flexible Schedule Responsibilities Provide 1:1 constant supervision and support in the home and community Maintain a safe and supportive environment Assist in maintaining routine including ADL's (daily hygiene reminders/ assistance) Assist with Meal/Snack preparation based on the client's dietary needs. Provide transportation to Community Outings and Appointments Encourage independence, choice, and community inclusion Qualifications Authorized to work in the U.S. Criminal/Caregiver background check. Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and auto insurance required. 1 year of Experience working with individuals with disabilities preferred Compassionate individuals with 1 year of childcare or respite care experience preferred.
