Cardiology Physician

Join a dynamic healthcare team as a Cardiologist on a locum tenens basis. This role involves working in an outpatient clinic, with responsibilities extending to supervising stress tests and performing inpatient consults. The schedule offers flexibility with 2-3 weeks of coverage per month, allowing for a balanced work-life arrangement. Opportunities are available in Massena, NY, and Canton, NY.

• Setting: Outpatient Clinic, Hospital
• Start Date: ASAP
• Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM, with 2-3 weeks per month
• Patient Population: Adult
• Location: Massena, NY and Canton, NY
• Stipends: Housing and travel options can be discussed for non-local candidates

• Weekly direct deposit
• Malpractice insurance with tail coverage
• Supportive credentialing assistance
• Lodging and mileage reimbursement (if applicable)
• Flexible scheduling

• Work in an outpatient clinic approximately 3 days per week
• Supervise stress tests about 1 day per week
• Conduct inpatient consults and hospital consult service rotations as needed
• Provide on-call coverage from 4:00 PM to 8:00 AM as required
• Optional: Read nuclear portions of stress tests

• Board Certified in Cardiology
• Experience with cardiac imaging studies preferred
• Minimum of 5 years experience in a related field preferred
• EPIC experience required
• Valid NY state medical license
• AHA or RQI certifications

• Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM
• On-call coverage as needed

• Strong clinical skills in cardiology
• Ability to supervise and interpret cardiac stress tests
• Proficient with electronic medical records, particularly EPIC
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
