Locum Tenens Opportunity: Gastroenterologist near Salt Lake City, UTWe are currently seeking multiple board-certified Gastroenterologists for a locum tenens assignment near Salt Lake City, Utah. - Location: Near Salt Lake City, UT
- Start Date: October 2024
- Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM
- Setting: Outpatient clinic and procedure coverage
- Duration: Ongoing need with potential for long-term coverage
- Number of Providers Needed: 2-3Key Responsibilities:
- Provide clinic and procedure coverage
- Perform general GI cases, including EGD, EVS
- Procedures typically scheduled from 8:00 AM - 12:00 PM, followed by outpatient clinic consults and follow-ups from 12:30 PM - 4:30 PM
- Work with support staff including MAs, RNs, Echo Techs, Lab Techs, Nuclear Techs, and X-ray Techs
- EMR training required (EPIC)Job Requirements:
- Board Certification: Gastroenterology (ABIM/ABMS)
- Licensure: Active Utah license highly preferred, but locum providers with the ability to quickly obtain licensure are welcome
- Certifications: Active BLS and DEA required for credentialing
- Fellowship: Gastroenterology fellowship required
- Experience: Previous experience with EMR systems (EPIC) is preferred, with training required prior to starting
- Background: Clean malpractice and background required, with an NPDB self-inquiry report submitted
