Days 7 am - 3 pm & swings 3 pm - 11 pm coverage needed daily
Option to cover combined shift 7 am - 11 pm
Nights 11 pm - 7 am remote call only, rarely called in
10 - 15 patients per 8-hour shift on days and swings
1 - 2 admits per night on average often 0
Inpatient hospital setting
No procedures hospitalists help run codes until EMS arrives
We negotiate better pay and deposit it weekly
