The Role:
- Trauma Level: Level III
- Medical Supervision (1:6; occasionally QZ after hours (i.e. C-sections).
- General Surgery: 50-60%
- Hours: Mix of 8s, 10s and 12s.
- High-Acuity Specialties: Busy heart program with lungs, vascular - special team for open hearts; lungs and vascular optional; Not a ton of Neuro (heads; spine is weekly), but some; no Transplants; very light Trauma - emergent, sick bowels, occasional gunshot wound, etc.
- Pediatrics: Some minor ortho only and ENT (tongue tie, ear tubes - avg is 2yrs and above).
- Regional Anesthesia Program: CRNAs and MDs do their own Regional.
- $Competitive Rate weeknight call + Premium if called in, Weekend Call equals 6 Regular Hours Per Day + Premium When Called In.
