Overview As Corporate Accounting Manager, you will lead accounting operations across corporate and international entities to ensure accurate, GAAP-compliant reporting. You will partner with leadership to tackle technical accounting matters and strengthen the close and reporting processes. You will manage journal entries, reconciliations, and revenue-related analyses while leveraging ERP and consolidation tools. This role offers impact across multi-entity accounting and meaningful collaboration with executives on key initiatives.
Responsibilities- Lead corporate accounting activities for designated areas with accurate reporting under U.S. GAAP
- Prepare and review journal entries for debt, equity, intercompany balances, foreign currency, leases, receivables, and government-related transactions
- Complete general ledger reconciliations during the close, investigate discrepancies and resolve items
- Partner with accounting leadership on technical accounting matters and revenue-related issues to ensure consistency across reporting
- Utilize ERP platforms, consolidation tools, reconciliation software, banking apps, and billing portals for daily accounting tasks
- Support financial statement analysis by explaining period-to-period movements and material variances
- Assist with adoption of new accounting guidance and reflect activity across entities in the financial records
- Develop and maintain revenue recognition analyses; assess treatment for new revenue channels and contract structures; prepare/review customer billing as needed
- Contribute to a timely month-end close and strengthen internal controls and accounting processes
Key requirements- Experience in corporate accounting and leading close processes
- Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and technical accounting
- Ability to manage multi-entity accounting and intercompany transactions
- Proficiency with ERP, consolidation, reconciliation, and banking systems
- Analytical skills to explain variances and support financial statement analysis
