Overview In this role you will own and drive the governance strategy for the Enterprise Data Platform (EDP), aligning data governance with enterprise standards and regulatory obligations. You will partner with business and technology teams to embed policies, controls, and data quality across the platform. You will lead governance adoption, measure compliance, and shape data ownership and lifecycle practices. Responsibilities- Lead the design and execution of the data governance program for the EDP, translating requirements into operational processes and platform capabilities
- Collaborate with business units and IT to implement data management, quality, metadata, security, and privacy standards across the EDP
- Monitor policy compliance through audits and metrics reporting across the EDP ecosystem
- Create, implement, and track governance metrics and dashboards
- Build and maintain relationships with stakeholders to ensure alignment with organizational objectives
- Communicate complex concepts and negotiate viewpoints to drive innovation
- Develop frameworks to classify data, define ownership, quality, metadata, lifecycle, and access controls
- Operate in an Agile environment with ongoing prioritization of business needs and risk assessment
- Possibly lead cross-functional projects to drive governance adoption and implement security/compliance standards across RGA teams
Key requirements- Bachelor's Degree in Arts/Sciences (BA/BS) or equivalent education/experience
- 10+ years of progressive experience in enterprise-level data governance or data management
- 4+ years of experience managing enterprise initiatives, teams, and engineering solutions with business-aligned outcomes
