JOB REQUIREMENTS - Board: Board Certified in Surgery of the Hand
- Licenses: Active CO License or Universal License (IMLC) with Letter of Qualification
- DEA: Active DEA (required for credentialing)
- Certifications: Board Certified, DEA
- Experience: Hand Surgery Fellowship required
- Other Qualifications: Clean malpractice/background; local/drive-in candidates preferred; must acknowledge EMR training requirements
Duties & Responsibilities - Provide 24-hour call coverage for hand surgery emergencies (7a-7a).
- Cover emergency department and transfer center calls for hand injuries.
- Manage acute hand injuries and conditions.
- Communicate with referring physicians and coordinate care.
- Document patient encounters and procedures in EPIC EMR.
