Job description

ENT in Rochester, MN

Step into an established, high-demand community-based Otolaryngology practice backed by a respected hospital-clinic network with an immediate 3-to-4-month new patient waitlist. Practicing alongside an experienced RN/LPN team with front-office support, you will manage a broad general ENT panel with dedicated operating room time and the autonomy to grow niche procedural interests like rhinology or facial plastics. This full-time or part-time position in Rochester, Minnesota, offers a guaranteed base salary up to $539,000 paired with substantial upfront incentives.

Practice Overview:

  • You'll join a community-focused hospital/clinic system with broad referral access and a built-in patient demand (new patient waitlist reported at 3-4 months)
  • Outpatient-first model with dedicated OR time and the ability to grow your procedural mix
  • Support includes RN/LPN team plus front-office support; option to add an APP as volume ramps
  • Bread-and-butter ENT with openness to special interests (e.g., rhinology, facial plastics) and a track record of adding equipment with a solid business case

Schedule:

  • Flexible 0.8-1.0 FTE options: 4-day (32 hrs) or 5-day (40 hrs) workweek
  • Primarily clinic-based with dedicated OR time; clinic/procedure split can be tailored as you build
  • No general call and no specialty call
  • Option for a "flex" 5th day for admin time or procedures (based on your preferences)

Compensation & Benefits:

  • Base salary $431,000-$539,000 (FTE-based) with a 2-year guarantee
  • $105,000 sign-on bonus
  • RVU-based production incentives
  • 32 days PTO (1.0 FTE) plus $3,200 CME annually; malpractice with tail included

Candidate Requirements:

  • MD/DO with BC/BE in Otolaryngology
  • Open to fellows and upcoming graduates; experienced physicians welcomed for practice-building opportunity
  • Comfort with full-scope, general ENT across pediatrics through adults
  • Visa sponsorship may be considered for H1-B

Community & Location Highlights:

  • Live and work in Rochester, Minnesota; an easy-to-navigate city with a strong medical community and amenities you'd expect in a larger metro
  • Great options for outdoor recreation year-round and quick weekend getaways across the Upper Midwest
  • Housing options range from walkable neighborhoods to more space outside the city core
  • Convenient regional travel access, with major metro connections within a reasonable drive
